Meadowlark Ski Area and Lodge is located in the Big Horn Mountains between Buffalo and Tensleep, Wyoming, just off Highway 16. This resort boasts an over 800 ft vertical drop, with lakeside and majestic Big Horn Mountain views. Dubbed the “Little Jackson Hole” of the Big Horns, Meadowlark Ski Area has over 320 acres and 35 trails of ski terrain for both beginner and expert skiers, with very challenging chutes in an area of Wyoming that averages over 300 inches in annual snowfall.
At the end of the day, one can join friends in the Meadowlark Lodge, a 15,000 sq. ft. ski lodge offering food, beverages, and a full-service rental and ski shop downstairs. Just beyond, the lake adds another 10,000 sq. ft. of recreational space, creating a vibrant hub for both relaxation and activity.
